I took these photos at Ann Arbor Open school. Before I went to Skyline I was at AAO for nine years. The mood for these photos is old and homely. The building itself is very old and I picked homely as well because when you walk inside there is children's artwork displayed all over and you just get a sense of comfort. I took these photos because I love the look of the old building and how well it is still in tact.
This is of the Calvary United Methodist church of Ann Arbor. The mood of these photos is happy because when I was there photographing, a service had just gotten out and people smiled at me when they saw me. Everyone was social and talking outside as well. I see this church almost everyday because I live so close and I drive past it, that is why I photographed this building.
This is Forsythe Middle School. The mood for these photos is social. School had just gotten out when I went to take these photos so kids were walking around everywhere. When I was young, my family and I would go to play baseball at the field next to Forsythe so it reminds me of when I was younger. I took photos here because I really liked the red on the school, it adds a good pop of color.
This is my house. The mood for these photos is bright because when I took them it was very bright and sunny outside. I like the color of my house a lot and the decorations we have up for halloween. I took these photos because the lighting was good at the time.
This is the church next to my house. It has always been there while I have been growing up. The mood for these photos is quiet because while I was photographing the street by me had almost no cars. Nobody was at the church so it was very noise-free. I liked this building because even though it has been here so long it is very well taken care of.
